MP Dr Prabha Mallikarjun on Saturday said that steps will be taken to identify important places in all six taluks of the district and turn them into tourism destinations, so that Davanagere district can become a tourist destination.
Addressing girl students and the public during the water adventure sports event held for women and girls at Kondajji Lake on Saturday as part of International Women's Day celebrations, she said on the occasion of Women's Day, free water adventure sports has been organised for women in the lake till April 7.
