"WITHOUT discriminating against the public of whether they have voted for me in the elections or not, I view all the castes, communities and religions equally. In my long political career, I have brought harmony in the society," said Holalkere MLA and former chairman of KSRTC Dr M Chandrappa here on Saturday.
Addressing the Muslim community people after taking part in the Bakrid (Eid ul-Adha) festival at the Eidgah Maidan in the town, he said, "People of all castes and religions should coexist and be like brothers. Humanity and humility should be part of our life, as they are greater than caste and religion. The essence of the Bhagavad Gita, Bible and Quran is peace." Therefore, he said that he is working towards providing social justice to all classes.
