M P Renukacharya: Will tour state for success of Veerashaiva-Lingayat meet

THE aim of the Veerashaiva-Lingayat convention going to be held in Bengaluru is to unite all the sub-sects of the community and ensure that they gear up for the forthcoming elections, including ZP and TP polls and the 2028 assembly elections, former minister M P Renukacharya has said.
Speaking to the community leaders of Davanagere, Chitradurga and Haveri districts at Srinidhi Convention Hall here on Saturday, Renukacharya said: "We want to strengthen the hands of former chief minister B S Yediyurappa who united the community after he was denied power by former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy."
