Man gets 10-yr jail term for raping, impregnating minor

THE Fast Track Special Court (POCSO), Kendrapara on Friday sentenced a 25-year-old man to 10 years of imprisonment for raping and impregnating a minor girl two years back.
The court also imposed a fine of ₹50,000 on the convict Pradeep Kishan. Failure to pay the fine would result in an additional one-year jail term for Kishan. The victim, a Class IX student, was 15 years old when the crime took place.
