Three days after a Class X student delivered a baby girl on the hostel rooftop, Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Central) B Parameswaran on Thursday visited the ST and SC Development department-run girl's high school in Chitrakonda and conducted a marathon inquiry into the incident.
CLOSE on the heels of the Malkangiri shocker, another Class X student of a government-run high school in Jajpur's Bari block reportedly gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday night.
The student, who had appeared for two papers of the ongoing High School Certificate (HSC) examination, was fasting for Maha Shivaratri festival on Wednesday. She fell ill after complaining of abdominal pain in the night.
