Patients Seek More Direct Bus Services to GH

PATIENTS visiting the Pudukkottai Government Medical College Hospital continue to suffer due to inadequate direct government bus services from the New Bus Stand, forcing many to rely on costly private transportation.

Up until the Covid-19 pandemic, there were direct services from the bus stand that helped patients gain easy access to the hospital. But the services were suspended during the pandemic.

Although direct service resumed a year ago, the frequency remains low, leaving patients, especially those from rural areas, stranded.
