Irrigation scam: Former CM KCR appears before judicial commission

BRS president and former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday appeared before the judicial commission investigating alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP), which was executed during his tenure.

HYDERABAD:
The one-man judicial commission is headed by former Supreme Court judge, Justice P C Ghose.
The commission, which began its probe nearly a year ago, has so far examined several engineers and officials, particularly from the irrigation department.
