EoW Files Chargesheet Against Baghel Aide in Mineral Fund Scam Case

CHHATTISGARH State Bureau for Investigation of Economic Offences (EOW) on Tuesday filed a 6000-page chargesheet against Saumya Chaurasia, former deputy secretary to ex-CM Bhupesh Baghel, then-Korba collector Ranu Sahu, and others in the Raipur special court in the multi-crore District Mineral Fund (DMF) scam.
Besides Chaurasia and Sahu, the chargesheet names businessmen Suryakant Tiwari, Maya Varriar, Manoj Dwivedi, Bhuneswar Singh Raj, Barossa Ram Thakur, and Virendra Rathore.
