Says Siddaramaiah should have summoned the officer instead of chiding him in public
In the wake of the additional SP Naryan Venkatappa Baramani taking voluntary retirement over insult by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in public recently, Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar said the government should take action within the legal framework for the mistakes rather than insulting and demoralising an officer in public.
He expressed displeasure over Siddaramaiah's behaviour with the ASP in a public function, which demoralised the cop forcing him to take the extreme step of resigning from the service.
