LOCAL horse ride operators were the first ones to respond to the April 22 terrorist attack in Baisaran, says J&K Pony Walas Association president Waheed Ahmed.
"We pony operators ferried the injured on our horses and carried them piggy-back and in cots to safety," he shares.
About 300 to 350 tourists were present at Pahalgam's Baisaran meadow when the deadly militant attack took place on Tuesday afternoon.
