Proposal to name road after Siddu sparks row

A proposal and discussion in the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) to rename a major road in the city after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah have sparked widespread controversy and opposition.
The MCC, during its recent meeting, had announced plans to rename the stretch of KRS Road starting from Sri Lakshmi Venkataramana Swamy Temple Circle to Metagalli Royal Inn Junction as 'Siddaramaiah Aarogya Marga'.
