Speaking at the inaugural session of a two-day international conference on 'New Challenges and Innovations in Molecular Medicine', held at the Vijnan Bhavan at the University of Mysore here on Wednesday, Prof Mehta said: "No single discipline can tackle these issues alone. A convergence of disciplines is essential, and this should also be reflected in how we teach and train future scientists in the coming decade."
