Cops say except some fatal and non-fatal accidents, no complaints of robbery or dacoity were received in 3 months
IN view of a viral video showing robbery attempts on the yet-to-be completed Bengaluru-Chennai Express Corridor, Inspector General of Police (Central Range) Labhuram has clarified that they have not received any such complaints.
The Bengaluru-Chennai Express Corridor has been completed between Hoskote and Sundarapalya and vehicles were allowed to commute on this road stretch without toll fee, however, the road has not been opened officially, sources said.
Every day, hundreds of four-wheelers and trucks move on this stretch as it saves time and fuel. Even during the night time, many people choose this road for early reach of their destinations.
