Jagan's driver in custody as video of accident surfaces

GUNTUR police on Sunday allegedly took into custody Ramanareddy, the driver of the vehicle that fatally ran over YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) worker Cheeli Singaiah during former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's rally in Sattenapalli on June 18.
The incident, initially attributed to an unidentified vehicle, turned controversial after disturbing videos surfaced showing that the car carrying Jagan himself was involved in the accident.
The mishap occurred near Eturukuru village as the convoy was en route from Tadepalli to Rentapalla in Palnadu district. Jagan was on his way to console the family of a deceased party worker.
