A major controversy has surfaced regarding the alleged misappropriation of ex-gratia funds meant for farmers who lost their land to industrial development projects in Nanjangud taluk of Mysuru district.
Addressing a press meet here on Monday, Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha leader Hosakote Basavaraju demanded a thorough investigation and fair compensation to the rightful beneficiaries.
