Civic forums demand new train between Arasikere and Mysuru

MEMBERS of civic forums comprising senior citizens and various voluntary organisations of Holenarasipur town have urged Hassan MP Shreyas Patel to take steps to have a train service between Hassan and Mysuru via Holenarasipur.
The forum led by social workers Vasantaiah and Suresh Kumar and scribes met Patel at his residence and presented a memorandum addressed to Union Minister of state for Railways V Somanna through the MP on Sunday.
The members demanded that the railway authorities run a new train in the peak hours between 9 am and 9.30 am in the interest of patients, senior citizens, college students and government officials.
