5 chip units progressing at rapid pace: Vaishnaw

FIVE semiconductor units are currently progressing at a rapid pace in the country, said Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday.
The minister, while speaking at Semicon India 2025, also mentioned that India's chips will be 15-30% cheaper than those from other countries.
