Hassan city has the highest 1,100 bogus cards, followed by Channarayapatna with 381 cards
CLOSE on the heels of cancelling thousands of bogus Below Poverty Line (BPL) cards by the Food and Civil Supplies Department, the Labour Department has now weeded out over 2,300 bogus labour cards in Hassan district.
According to statistics available with The New Indian Express, Hassan city has the highest -- 1,100 bogus cards -- followed by Channarayapatna taluk 381. The least number of bogus labour cards are in Sakleshpur taluk with just 84.
