Two arrested for transporting MDMA
AUTHORITIES in Udupi district have sounded an alarm over a rising number of students becoming entangled in cases related to drug peddling and consumption.
A police source said the consumption of drugs is reported from secluded areas and they have registered 28 cases in the last one year. These cases are related to the trafficking of drugs. With regard to consumption of the drugs, as many as 223 cases have been registered in the district in the last year. In these cases, 11 students were booked for trafficking of drugs.
