The High Court of Karnataka has directed the Registrar of Births and Deaths to develop a software in association with the Revenue Department to get data from sub-registrars' offices or the department automatically so that the possibility of suppression of details related to properties of the deceased can be avoided.
The high court said the records pertaining to birth and death available with hospitals should also be integrated with the office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths.
