Rajnath flags trust deficit, stresses need for permanent solution to border demarcation
INDIA and China should build on the fresh momentum in the bilateral relations and avoid new complexities, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Friday, a day after he met his Chinese counterpart Admiral Dong Jun on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Defence Ministers' conclave in Qingdao, China.
"It is incumbent on both sides to maintain this positive momentum and avoid adding new complexities in the bilateral relationship," Singh posted on X, adding that he exchanged "constructive and forward-looking views" with Dong on Thursday.
