Japan delegates visit city to foster trade

A delegation from Japan held a meeting with local elected representatives and businessmen of the region towards fostering trade ties and encouraging Japanese businesses to establish operations in Mangaluru, leveraging the region's robust infrastructure, skilled manpower, and strategic connectivity.
A press release from KCCI said the delegation was led by Prof (Dr) Gopal Mugeraya, vice-president, Technical Education, NITTE along with Prof Harikrishna Bhat, director, International Collaborations (Asia-Pacific Region), Komatsu Shinya, prefectural assembly member and former vice-chairman, Japan, Katsutoshi Seiwa, director-Industrial Technology Innovation Division, Japan, and Ito Susumu, chief-Industrial Technological, Kotaro Kurosaka, CEO, Sanyo Machinary Company and Tadashi Ariji, group manager
