KUTTA police in Kodagu district have filed an FIR against a Range Forest Officer and four others of Kallalla Range of Nagarahole Tiger Reserve for allegedly hiding the facts of a jeep accident that claimed the life of a forest department driver.

The FIR has been registered under sections 105, 211, 238, 3(5) of BNS for charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. According to Chitra, complainant and wife of victim driver Gopala (48), Gopala has been working as a driver with the forest department for 25 years.
