Plea to Relocate Nelpettai Fish Market Binned

The Madurai Bench of Madras High Court on Friday dismissed a public interest litigation (PIL) petition filed to stop the construction of a fish market by the Madurai Corporation at Nelpettai and instead relocate the old fish market, dry fish market, and slaughterhouse to the city outskirts, away from the residential area.
