ACTING on requests for additional covered parking at the station, railway officials on Friday said the new multi-level car parking (MLCP) facility for four-wheelers that is under construction in the western entrance of Madurai Junction will soon be put into use.
According to officials, this is the first multi-level, covered four-wheeler parking space in Madurai division that will be put into operation. Further, it will be the second major parking facility developed under the station redevelopment project at Madurai Junction after the multi-level two-wheeler parking area that is already in use at the eastern entrance.
