Yet Another Youth Arrested for 'Swallowing' MDMA in Thamarassery

In a concerning repeat of recent drug-related incidents, Thamarassery police arrested a youth, identified as Faiz, a native of Thamarassery, on suspicion of swallowing MDMA.
The arrest followed a tip-off from local people who alerted the excise department after Faiz created a commotion at his residence. The police intervened and took him into custody before shifting him to Kozhikode Medical College for further medical evaluation.
According to police sources, Faiz displayed erratic behaviour, leading officers to suspect that he might have swallowed MDMA to evade potential charges. "We found his actions highly suspicious and could not rule out the possibility that he ingested drugs. As a precaution, he was immediately taken to Kozhikode Medical College," said an officer from Thamarassery police station.
