DMK chief accuses the BJP of 'making mockery of elections' and 'subverting democracy'
TAMIL Nadu CM and DMK President M.K. Stalin joined Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' in Darbhanga in north Bihar on Wednesday, a day after his Telangana counterpart A. Revanth Reddy participated in the ongoing march against alleged theft of votes in elections.
Stalin travelled in an open vehicle alongside Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, and other leaders of the INDIA bloc. They all received a rousing welcome from people at different locations along the entire route from Darbhanga to Muzaffarpur.
Slogans like 'Vote chor gaddi chhor' rent the air. People with placards saying 'Vote Chori Nahi Hone Denge' (will not allow vote theft) and 'Vote Chori Rokenge' (will stop vote theft) joined the march, which resumed at around 8.30 a.m. in Darbhanga on Wednesday.
