DEMANDING a solution to the ongoing violence at petrol pumps, petroleum dealers in Kozhikode district went on a sudden strike by closing the pumps from 4 pm to 6 pm on Saturday.
DEMANDING a solution to the ongoing violence at petrol pumps, petroleum dealers in Kozhikode district went on a sudden strike by closing the pumps from 4 pm to 6 pm on Saturday. The pumps were closed in protest against the alleged assault by tanker lorry drivers on Kozhikode District Petroleum Dealers Association leaders in Elathur. Association office-bearers said that they were forced to declare an unexpected strike and urged the public to cooperate with the protest.
