Mueen Ali Thangal Meeting Thuneri Murder Case Convicts at Jail Sparks Row

The Muslim Youth League (MYL) national vice president Panakkad Syed Mueen Ali Shihab Thangal meeting the MYL workers sentenced to life imprisonment in the Thuneri Shibin murder case at Thavanur Central Jail has sparked controversy.
Following his visit on Thursday, Mueen Ali, son of former Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) state president Panakkad Syed Hyder Ali Shihab Thangal, announced that the IUML would support the convicted individuals in their legal battle to prove their innocence in the Supreme Court.
In a social media post, Mueen Ali Thangal said that the IUML would seek the assistance of Rajya Sabha MP Advocate Haris Beeran to support the legal fight.
