Kannur university paper leak: Principal suspended

IN a significant development in the Kannur University BCA question paper leak case, Ajeesh, the principal-in-charge of Palakunnu Greenwoods Arts and Science College, has been suspended.

The suspension comes a day after Bekal police registered a case against him in connection with the leak of the data mining and data warehousing question paper.

Assistant superintendent of police, Aparna O, confirmed that Ajeesh has been charged with criminal breach of trust and cheating, following evidence uncovered in the preliminary investigation.

The police said the accused played a key role in compromising the integrity of the university's secure question paper distribution system.
