Farmers Rue Fluctuating Rates of Various Rubber Grades

Amid continuing volatility in the domestic rubber market, the prices of different rubber grades, particularly scrap rubber, have experienced a significant decline this week, creating yet another jolt for the farmers.
While the price of ribbed smoked sheet (RSS) rubber, the high-grade form of natural rubber, showed a declining trend in the last week, prices for field coagula collected from rubber trees such as tree lace and cup lump rubber, which is traded as scrap rubber, have seen a dramatic drop during the period.
