|July 17, 2025
The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) has come under fire for allegedly hiring contract employees for the post of meter readers despite having nearly 500 qualified candidates in the PSC rank list.
The allegation was made by an outfit of PSC rank holders. The rank holders, whose list has been valid since 2022 and is set to expire next month, are currently on a protest strike in front of the KWA headquarters demanding jobs.
