A 19-YEAR-OLD, who was out on bail in a Pocso case, has been arrested on charges of kidnapping and raping a minor girl in Pathanamthitta.

P Prashanth, a resident of Ezhumattoor, was arrested by the Perumpetty police on Wednesday. The police said the accused, who befriended the 17-year-old Plus-I student on Instagram, abducted her while on her way to school and raped her on February 28.
