Started in 2022, BTC now has 9 depots contributing a monthly income of Rs 35 to 40 lakh
IN JUST six months, the KSRTC Budget Tourism Cell (BTC) has earned an impressive ₹1,50,82,924, with the nine depots contributing an average monthly income of ₹35 to 40 lakh. Leading the way in attracting tourists are depots in Kollam, Kottarakkara, Karunagappally, Chadayamangalam, and Pathanapuram.
Among the destinations, Gavi, Munnar, and Palakkad have seen the highest number of visitors. Some of the most profitable routes include the Nefertiti cruise, Oxy Valley-Silent Valley, Poliyamthuruth, Wayanad, and Mookambika.
Along with popular sightseeing tours departing from Kollam and Kulathupuzha depots, KSRTC also offers various pilgrimage tours, catering to both the spiritual and travel needs of the public.
