Raichur's OPEC Hospital gets daycare chemotherapy department

IN collaboration with the District Health and Family Welfare Department and the Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), a daycare chemotherapy department has been set up at the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality (OPEC) Hospital in Raichur.
This is the first such department set up at the district level in Karnataka. Surgical oncology is already available at OPEC Hospital and medical oncology started functioning from January 10. "There are plans to set up a department of radiation oncology in the coming days," said Dr Ramesh C Sagar, special off
