THE Enforcement Directorate, while probing the Karuvannur Cooperative Bank financial scam, revealed that the CPM has amassed substantial wealth and income which were never disclosed.
The funds collected in connection with the financial fraud were partly utilised for local expenses, party meetings, acquisition of land and buildings for the party, and election-related expenses.
