Court Denies Bail to Accused Arrested With Fake Mark Cards

FIFTH additional special district and sessions court of Kalaburagi on Friday rejected the bail application of the accused Rajiv Singh Arora (who is a native of Delhi) who was arrested by Kalaburagi police on February 18 after recovering fake marks cards of 17 different educational institutions belonging to 28 universities of the country.

After the arrest, Arora approached the 5th additional special district & sessions court of Kalaburagi for granting bail. The judge of the court Chandrashekhar Karoshi rejected the bail application of Arora. The public prosecutor Hayyalappa Balabatti argued on behalf of the prosecution.

It may be recalled here that based on a tip-off, CEN police personnel kept an eye on the 14U Glam Choice Cloth shop situated on the first floor of Asian Mall of Kalaburagi and found that a person Mohammad Khan s/o Yusuf Khan resident of Gousnagar Tarfile Kalaburagi in the name of Elegance Technologies and Placement Bureau used to sell 10th, 12th, ITI, Diploma, B.E. and B.Tech marks cards to the youths by cheating them.
