Yatnal has been a vocal critic of BSY and his son BYV who is the state president of BJP
GURULINGAPPA Angadi has taken charge as the BJP's new district president of Vijayapura, but his appointment has been seen within the party circle as a strategic move to weaken BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal who has been a vocal critic of former chief minister B S Yediyurappa and his son, B Y Vijayendra who is also the state BJP chief.
The feud between Yatnal and Yediyurappa family is no secret as the former is not leaving any opportunity to criticise the latter. The election of Angadi has been considered as a setback to Yatnal as he failed to get the post to a person of his camp.
