Ajay Suggests All-Party Delegation to Delhi to Seek ₹10k cr for KK Region

The president of the Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board (KKRDB), Dr. Ajay Singh, who is also the MLA of Jewargi, said that BJP MLAs forget the differences of opinion with regard to the development of the backward Kalyana Karnataka (KK) region and suggested taking a delegation of all political parties to New Delhi to bring pressure on the Union Government for providing a grant of Rs 10,000 crore for the development of the KK region.
The suggestion from Dr. Singh came when BJP MLAs disturbed Dr. Singh while he was speaking about the role played by Congress for the development of KK in the state Legislative Assembly on Friday. Dr. Singh said that Congress and the state government were putting much effort for the development of the KK region.
