The AIADMK MLAs led by Leader of Opposition Edapppadi K Palaniswami were evicted en masse on Friday.
Speaker M Appavu ordered their eviction after they insisted on an opportunity to raise an issue of urgent public importance during the zero hour.
After being evicted from the Assembly, Palaniswami told the media outside that he tried to raise the murder of a police constable near Usilampatti on Thursday and the Speaker did not allow him.
