DEPARTMENT of School Education has begun taking action against schools in Kalaburagi district that recorded a zero percent pass rate in the recently announced SSLC results. Deputy Director of School Education Suryakant Madani has issued showcause notices to the headmasters of three government high schools--Government Urdu High School in Mominpura, Kalaburagi, Government High School in Alanga, Aland taluk, and Government High School for Boys in Jewargi asking them to explain the reason behind their schools' 'zero percent' performance in the SSLC exams held in March-April this year.
