Youth sports fest to be held in Dharwad LS segment

AS part of the Fit India scheme, 'Sansad Khel Mahotsav 2025', a sports festival, will be held in the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency from September 21 to December 25 to identify and encourage sports talent, and also to promote youths' participation in local and mainstream sports and to build a healthy and strong youth population.
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has urged sports enthusiasts and athletes from the Dharwad region to participate and display their love for sports.
According to a release issued by the minister's office, already, through initiatives like 'Khelo India' and 'Fit India', lakhs of sports talents across the country have been brought to the forefront, allowing them to compete with top international athletes and showcase their talent on a global platform.
