State govt reportedly rescinded its order appointing Dombar as new commissioner
CONFUSION prevails in Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) as the state government reportedly rescinded its order appointing Manjunath Dombar as the new commissioner.
Sources indicate that the government may reinstate Rudresh Ghali, who was transferred on Wednesday to serve as Additional Commissioner in the Department of School Education and Literacy.
The decision to transfer Ghali raised eyebrows, as he had taken charge as HDMC commissioner in January this year, following the abrupt end of Eshwar Ullagaddi's tenure.
