'Cong netas have been making irresponsible statements on Pahalgam'
BJP MLA Mahesh Tenginkai has taken serious exception to District Minister Santosh Lad criticising the Narendra Modi government for the Pahalgam terror attack and mocked that, "It is ridiculous that Minister Lad, who fails to understand that the Congress is the root-cause of all problems in Kashmir, is now demanding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resignation over the Pahalgam attack."
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Tenginkai said right after the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was abroad, immediately returned to the country, convened an emergency meeting and announced firm decisions to be taken against Pakistan. Opposition leaders also extended their support to these decisions. However, Congress leaders have been making irresponsible statements, which were unacceptable, he alleged.
