Civic Body Explores Robotic Tech To Fix Sewer Line Issues

IN a significant step towards addressing persistent underground drainage (UGD) problems in the city, the Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) has initiated trials of an advanced robotic inspection system in Belagavi recently.
This state-of-the-art technology aims to detect blockages, leakages and other faults in sewer pipelines quickly and accurately—potentially offering a long-term solution to the city's growing sanitation challenges. A live demonstration of the robotic machine was conducted in the presence of Mayor Mangesh Pawar, Deputy Mayor, corporators, and senior municipal officers recently. The session offered attendees a detailed overview of the machine's capabilities and practical application.
