Ponds constructed in Gadag, Shirahatti, Kappatagudda hill range
NORMALLY summer drives away the wildlife, but in case of Kappatagudda, wildlife is thronging the newly declared sanctuary by the Forest Department. To ensure that animals are not deprived of water, the department has constructed artificial ponds and is filling them with water. The summer heat is unbearable not just for the human beings but even for the wildlife. Considering this, the Forest Department has built artificial ponds.
