21 Inmates Selected for Edu Course Within Ballari Jail

In a progressive initiative aimed at rehabilitating young offenders, the Ballari Central Prison has launched a special education programme within its premises.
The programme specifically caters to inmates who have never had the opportunity to attend school.
According to prison authorities, 21 young prisoners are currently enrolled in the programme. Qualified teachers have been appointed to conduct daily classes according to a structured schedule, ensuring consistency and discipline in the learning process. The prison currently has over 440 inmates.
