10 committees formed to ensure smooth conduct of Winter Session

DEPUTY Commissioner Mohammad Roshan said that all arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the Belagavi Winter Session 2024.
Addressing a press conference at Suvarna Vidhan Soudha (SVS) in Belagavi on Friday, Roshan detailed the extensive preparations made by the district administration, including accommodations, transport, food services and security measures. Ten committees have been formed to ensure the smooth conduct of the session.
As many as 2,756 rooms have been reserved in private hotels, guesthouses and tourist centres for MLAs, ministers, officers and other staff. For public convenience, eight pay-as-you-go canteens have been set up, while 38 stalls have been allocated to organisations, including women's self-help groups, he informed.
