Murmu on ‘most modern’ Rafale sortie from Ambala today, first Prez to do so

PRESIDENT Droupadi Murmu, who is also the Supreme Commander of Armed Forces, will be taking a sortie in an Indian Air Force’s combat fighter on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Rashtrapati Bhawan said that on October 29, President Murmu will visit Ambala in Haryana, where she will take a sortie in Rafale.
“Earlier on April 8, 2023, the President took a sortie in Su-khoi 30 MKI fighter aircraft at the Tezpur IAF station, Assam,” it added.
