DESPITE uncertainty in global trade policies, the crypto market maintained its upward momentum in May 2025 as it gained 10.3% month-on-month, according to Binance Research, the research and analysis arm of Binance.
Bitcoin performed strongly as it surged 11.1% in May and reached an all-time high of $111,970 before experiencing a slide for the third day in a row on Thursday. Riya Sehgal, Research Analyst, Delta Exchange said Bitcoin's rally above $110,000 faces short-term selling pressure, with support near $107,200 critical.
"Ethereum, after strong bullish momentum, now corrects around $2,750 support, which must hold for further gains. These trends align with softer May US CPI data, which came in 0.1% lower MoM, putting YoY inflation at 2.4%, slightly below the market's 2.5% forecast," he added.
